Christian Formation

Children at St. Edward's

Children are fully welcome in the life of our church. Children may sit, play, learn and engage in the sanctuary, nursery, Sunday School and coffee hour. It is completely up to the child and their parent or parents.

Childcare is offered for children from birth to three years old, and offers them a safe space to play and be during church.

Sunday School

Focusing on children from 3-10 years old, our Sunday School aims to teach children the stories and history of our faith. We share a combination of story, music and interactive activities as a way to encourage good morals and critical thinking. Our Sunday School is led by a teacher and a helper.

Middle and High School Youth

Our youth ministry focuses on those in middle and high school. Like all of the education at St. Edward's, our mission is to educate our youth and help them to be critical thinkers and knowledgeable in their faith. For the last two years, the high school age youth have also participated in the Diocesan Mission Trip. Check out their Blog for more information.

Adults at St. Edward's

Adults are fully welcome in the life of our church. Adults may sit, play, learn and engage in the sanctuary, library, adult education and coffee hour. It is completely up to the adult.

Adult Education

Adult Education is offered in segments - a book study or a movie series, or in single sessions. This fall, we will study the Red Tent in October and Stopping the Christmas Machine in December. Additionally, we will celebrate All Saints by coloring Day of the Dead skulls and prepare for Advent with crafts and a chili cook off on Sunday, November 15. Regularly, Meritorious Palaver meets at 10 am on Fridays to discuss contemporary events, books and other aspects of faith.
